Because you are a socialist ... you want take that which does not belong to you and give it to someone else ... the I deserve it generation.
Most people I know have plenty of cash reserves ... it is called saving money, the process of buying a house can be trying, but I've purchased over 30 homes in my life, and it ain't no big deal. Finding a decent tenant can be sometimes difficult, but not that difficult overall. I actually use a property management company to do all that stuff for me anyhow.
Me? More fortunate? HeII no! I EARNED it, and I scrimped and saved. I have never taken a dime from anyone that I did not EARN. I bought my first house when I was 18 years old and the money I used as the downpayment was from MY savings that I had been putting away since I was a kid. I have never lived above my means.
ROFL magoo, the only difference between me and you is that you want to redistribute the wealth from the poor to the wealthy. I want everyone to have an equal opportunity to succeed in life. whether they decide to or not is up to them (its what our forefathers wanted, you know the whole all men created equal thing). if i'm a socialist to you, thats fine with me, but the rest of the world's accepted definition suggests otherwise. the "i deserve it" generation is a myth. I could sit here and give you a thousand ways that you're wrong, but I dont need to prove a damn thing to you or anyone here. you dont know jack about much magoo, but I do know one thing, you and I both know that the only reason you started this thread was because you were feeling pretty good about yourself (pride/ego), wanted to share it with someone (lonely? family not enough?), so you came here to brag to all of us about the great deal you got (yipee for us). all it amounts to is excessive pride, hubris in literary terms, and we all know where that got oedipus... lastly, I dont care about how you made your money. frankly, its irrelevant. but if you think you're the only kid who had a job before they were an adult, you're unbelievably off base. I've worked since I was 13, but where you got to spend it on a down payment on a house, I needed a reliable car, to go to doctor's appointments while in college.
the moral of the story, magoo, get off your high horse. the only thing worse than a spoiled brat is a spoiled brat who doesnt know what he/she is. your ego is nauseating. in your words, "you dont know, and you dont know you dont know."
