I have been writing about the coming revolution of Production from large Facilities to making things right at home with machines called 3D Printers, or Additive Manufacturing Machines...I have mentioned that I expected them to be in our homes within Ten years and that it will have a huge effect on the worlds economies as huge swaths of the population become unemployed...as more and more items become manufactured at point of use...Anyway...Here is another player showing off their new machines on CNN...This machine starts at only 1300.00...Wow...That is just fantastically cheap for such a machine...The future looks amazing...This technology will free mankind like it or not...it will make most manufacturing obsolete..we will be able to make what ever we want at home...the design is all that will be necessary...you will just go to the I-Design site and order the plans...and print out your new smart phone or what ever...simply amazing....This technology has gone from idea to retail in record time...And once people in mass start using these machines we will an explosion of technology....all of the inventors that could never pursue their ideas for lack of funding will now be able to make working models of their ideas for next to nothing....it will be amazing...Anyway here is the Address for the Video on CNN....http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/tech/2012/03/31/nr-kaye-3d-printer.cnn
